NEW DELHI: The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST 2023) registration deadline has been extended till May 24, 2023. Candidates that wish to appear for the NEST 2023 exam on June 24, 2023 will be able to apply for the exam on the NEST official website- nestexam.in.

Candidates that belong to the general category will be required to pay Rs 1,200 and female, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates must pay Rs Rs 600 as the NEST 2023 exam fee. The NEST syllabus 2023 comprises of five subjects- mathematics, general, chemistry, physics, and biology.

How to fill NEST application form 2023?

  • Visit nestexam.in, the official website.
  • Click on the 'Online Application' tab.
  • Enter details asked on the registration form.
  • Fill out the application form and pay fee.
  • Submit form and save for future reference.

NEST exam eligibility 2023

Candidates that have completed their class 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 60% from Science stream will be eligible. To be eligible for NEST 2023, candidates of the general and OBC category must be born on or after August 1, 2003, while the reserved (SC, ST, PwD) category candidates are given a relaxation of maximum of 5 years. Class 12 qualifying examination must have passed in either 2021 or 2022. Candidates appearing in 2023 are also eligible.

NEST exam pattern 2023

While calculating the NEST result, the best three subjects' marks will be taken into consideration.
