New Delhi, July 03: The University of Delhi has started releasing the second list of DU cut off 2019. Bhagini Nivedita College is the first one to release its cut off list on its official website on June 03 at 12.18 pm. It is most likely that other affiliated colleges of the University of Delhi will be releasing the second cut off lists on their respective official websites soon. Though the date for the release of DU second cut off was decided to be July 4 but, just like the first cut off lists, the remaining affiliated colleges of DU might be releasing the second cut off lists a day before the scheduled dates, i.e. today.

Bhagini Nivedita College releases its second DU cut off list

Bhagini Nivedita College has fixed the highest score of 89 per cent (for General Category) for B. Sc (Hons.) Physics for its second DU cut off, which is 1 point lesser than the per cent fixed on its first DU cut off for the same course. The second course pegging the second-highest cut off is B. Com with 83.5 per cent (for General Category) which is only 0.5 per cent less than the cut off present in the DU first cut off list for the same course in Bhagini Nivedita College

Factors Determining the DU cut off 2019

The university takes candidates’ ‘Best of Four’ aggregate marks accountable for DU admission 2019. Therefore, aspirants will get the admission in one of the colleges of DU if the percentage given on the cut off list is same as or minimum than their ‘Best of Four’ aggregate marks. There are many factors which play an important role in deciding Du cut off list including ‘Best of Four’ subjects, the course for which the candidate has applied for, number of seats available in that particular course, number of applicants applying for that particular course and the cutoff trends.

Since the number of applicants is one of the most important factors which affect DU cut offs, it is anticipated that declined number of candidates’ registration might affect the DU cut off 2019.

What after DU second cut off 2019?

After the second cut off list of DU has been released, candidates will be needed to check if they satisfy the minimum cut off of their desired programmes and colleges. After choosing, the candidates will be needed to log in into their Student’s Portal to get their Admission application form online. Aspirants will, then, have to visit the campus of the college with the required official documents to provide them for verification. After the process of document verification is done, they can pay the fee online by logging into their Student’s portal again.

DU Admission 2019 - Registration Statistics

There were 1,09,507 candidates did not pay for the DU registration process. As presented in the DU official website, a total number of 3,67,895 candidates got themselves registered, out of which only 2,58,388 candidates paid for it.
