Apply for VIT B.Arch admission 2020, admission through NATA

Vellore Institute of Technology has started the application process for B.Arch admission for the academic session 2020-21. Students can apply for admission by filling the online application form from the official website or from the link provided here. Admission to VIT B.Arch is through NATA examination conducted by the CoA. VIT does not conduct entrance examination for architecture admission and seats are allotted through a merit, formulated from marks obtained in class 12 and NATA score. VIT B.Arch Admission Date

Eligibility Criteria for VIT B.Arch Admission 2020

Students seeking admission in B.Arch course in VIT must ensure their eligibility before applying for admission. The eligibility criteria includes conditions of age,educational qualification and nativity which need to be fulfilled. Details eligibility criteria is provided here

• Candidates must have been born on or after July 1, 1998.

• Candidates must have studied in the regular and full-time category in higher secondary school examination.

• Candidates should have passed in class 12th or equivalent and secured a minimum of 60% marks and with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

• For SC/ST, J&K and North Eastern states, candidates should have passed class 12 or equivalent with 50% marks and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

• Candidates must have a valid score in the NATA 2020.

VIT B.Arch Application Process

Candidates have to apply online from the official website of VIT or from the link provided above. Candidates are also required to provide details about their score in class 12 and NATA and upload all the necessary documents online. Students will also have to pay Rs.1300 as application fee in order to submit the form. After submitting the form, candidates should take a printout of the online application form and keep it safe for the counselling process. Candidates are advised to keep checking the university website regularly for all updates related to admission dates.

VIT B.Arch Admission Process

Students who will submit the application form up to last date will be eligible for admission, subject to meeting all conditions of eligibility criteria. The institute will release a merit list of all candidates based on their score in class 12 and NATA 2020 examination. A single merit list will be released and students whose name appears in the called for counselling/personal interviews.

Allotment of seats will be on the basis of merit and personal interview, if required. Students who will be allotted a seat will be required to deposit the fees to confirm their admission.
