Lockdown 3 -IIM Udaipur ensures uninterrupted online learning, launches 18 courses

NEW DELHI- Indian Institute of Management Udaipur has introduced 18 online management courses on the online platform Coursera. The aim is to ensure that in wake of the spread of coronavirus, learning should not be obstructed. These programmes are launched in online mode for IIM Udaipur’s batch of 2019- 21.

Domains in which elective and voluntary courses are offered

Candidates will be able to pursue the management course under the following domains:

Operations	HR	Marketing
Finance	Analytics	Supply Chain Management
Marketing	Channel Management	Financial Markets
Investment Strategy	People Analytics	New Technologies for Business Leaders
Digital Product Management	Fundamentals of Project Management.

Importance of Moving Online

Prof. Janat Shah, Director, IIMU stated that due to COVID 19, the academic institutions have been taken off guard and they are taking all possible steps to switch over to online mode of education at least for the time being so that the students can make optimum use of their free time.

Prof. Sandhya Bhatia, Chairperson, Programs Committee, IIMU, said that the move of going online is aimed at ensuring that those who aim to hold the post of a manager do not suffer today.
