NIFT 2023 Counselling: Candidates who have filled fewer preferences are advised to update their course and campus preferences.
NEW DELHI: The counselling for the National Insitute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is underway. The candidates have been asked to fill maximum preferences. Candidates who have filled fewer preferences in NIFT 2023 counselling are advised to update their programmes and campus preferences to include the maximum number.

Sharing an official statement, the institute said that the preferences filled in would be carried through all sounds of seat allocation. The last date to edit, revise programmes and campuses is May 8.
"Candidates who have successfully cleared the selection process as per the final result for NIFT admissions- 2023, should register and fill in preferences for academic programmes by 12 PM (midnight) on May 8, 20-23. Candidates should ensure that all documents submitted by them have been verified and there are no observations," read an official notice.
NIFT Counselling 2023: Documents required
Candidates will be required to have these documents in the NIFT 2023 seat allocation.
- Undertaking regarding anti-ragging and refund of fee.
- Medical certificate.
- Candidates applying for NRI sponsored seats are required to submit documents from their NRI sponsor.
- Candidates must make sure category documents, if any, have been verified. Benefit of reservation can only be availed on verification of respective category documents.
Sharing the list of documents required, NIFT said: “Do not fake/ forge any documents. Not only will your admission be canceled (at any stage - even after joining) but legal action may also be taken.”
