NEW DELHI: National Law University Delhi (NLUD) has announced that the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2022, will be conducted on May 1, 2022 (10 am - 11:30 am). AILET 2022 will be conducted for admission to 5-year integrated BA LLB, LLM and PhD programmes offered by the university.

The admission notification along with the application form for AILET 2022 will be released in the first week of January 2022. It will be available in online mode, at the official website of NLUD - nludelhi.ac.in.

Who can apply for AILET 2022?

Candidates wishing to take admission to the full-time law programmes offered by the university can apply by filling the application form. Candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria.

  1. Eligibility for BA LLB:

Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability).

The candidates appearing for the Class 12 standard annual examination in 2022, are eligible to apply.

  1. Eligibility for LLM

Candidates must have an LLB or an equivalent law degree with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). The candidates appearing for the final year LLB annual examination in 2022 are eligible to apply.

  1. Eligibility for PhD

Candidates with LLM or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities) are eligible to apply for AILET PhD 2022.

In related news, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has also announced the dates for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). It will conduct CLAT 2022 on May 08, 2022, and CLAT 2023, on December 18, 2022.
