NEW DELHI: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) cell conducts the medical and dental admission in the state for 85 per cent state quota seats The Odisha MBBS, BDS admission 2021 is granted on the grounds of the scores of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). To apply in the Odisha MBBS BDS admission 2021, aspirants must fulfil the domicile eligibility for the state.

A total of 1,950 MBBS and 363 BDS seats are offered by both private and government colleges in the Odisha NEET 2021 counselling. As per the latest update, the counselling authorities have postponed the Odisha MBBS BDS registrations until further notice. The revised dates for the counselling of Odisha NEET 2021 will be released on the official website. NEET 2021 Odisha domicile criteria - Who can apply?
- As per the state domicile guidelines, only the permanent natives of Odisha or the children of All India Civil Service officers serving in the state of Odisha cadre are eligible to apply for the medical and dental admissions.
- Candidates claiming reservation under Green Card must be permanent natives of Odisha. Such candidates must produce original green cards of their parents issued by the Government of Odisha.
Are NRIs eligible for Odisha NEET 2021 counselling?
The NRI candidates, who have qualified for the NEET-UG 2021 can take part in Odisha MBBS/BDS counselling, however, such candidates have to submit the following documents in support of NRI.
Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport Visa of the sponsor).
Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/She will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.

About Odisha 2021 MBBS/BDS Admission
The counselling session for Odisha MBBS BDS will be conducted on odishajee.com. A total of 3 rounds will be held in the counselling session, including a mop-up round in the end for vacant seats. In the counselling session, candidates need to register, pay fees and fill their choice of course/colleges.
On aspirant’s choices, seat availability, candidate’s NEET 2021 rank, the seats will be granted. Candidates who will be granted admission will have to report to the college before the last date to confirm the seat.
