PGI Chandigarh postpones PGIMER MD/MS 2020 exam for July session
NEW DELHI: The entrance exam of Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) July session has been postponed due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. As per the notice released on May 6, 2020, MD/MS entrance exam for July 2020 session stands deferred till the further notice. The revised dates for the computer based test will be announced later. Candidates are advised to stay tuned to the official website of pgimer.edu.in for more updates.
PGIMER 2020 exam cancelled
PGIMER entrance exam is conducted for admission to 207 Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats offered in PGI Chandigarh. The exam for the July session has been postponed and the new exam date will be announced shortly. Check the official exam notice below.
PGIMER 2020 July session
The last date of submission of application form is May 6, 2020, till 11:55 PM. Only the eligible candidates will be allowed to fill the form. The registered applicants will be required to download the admit card 21 days prior to the examination. The PGIMER exam will be held for three hours, in computer based mode. A total of 250 multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam. Also, the exam will be released for candidates securing minimum qualifying percentile as mentioned by the authority.
Aspirants who qualifies the test will be called for counselling process in offline mode for verification and completion of admission process. The allotment will be done on the basis of rank secured, preferences of specializations, seats available, reservation criteria and other details.
