NEW DELHI: The Punjab School Education Board has decided to conduct its upcoming board exams in two terms. Term 1 exams will be held in November-December 2022 for main subjects only. While term 2 exams will be held in February-March 2022. Punjab Board will prepare the question papers for both terms.

Last year, the board had to cancel the board exams and PSEB results were declared as per alternative assessment criteria. So, the board decided to conduct Class 5, 8, 10 and 12 exams in two terms.

PSEB term 1 exam

  • Term-1 written exams will be held with multiple choice questions and students will have to mark their answers in the OMR sheet. Board will send the question papers.

  • PSEB first term exams will be held for main subjects only. No exams will be held for grading subjects. In this term, the board will not conduct practical exams as well.

  • Term 1 exams for special ability students of Class 10 and 12 will be held at the school level. The question paper pattern for such students should be the same as regular students’ question papers. The question paper must be framed from the question bank which is made available on the official website.
