Since the REET 2021 exam was not held for the past two years, approximately 16 lakh candidates had registered for the entrance exam. The candidates who appeared for the REET 2021 exam, most of them found the paper as easy, however, the questions in Child development and pedagogy were a bit tricky. Few questions in the science, mathematics section were also tough. The language in psychology was difficult. In social studies History was easy while the questions in the geography section mainly focused on the climatic conditions of Rajasthan. Hindi and Sanskrit were also very easy.

As the overall paper was not very tough hence, the actual cut off is going to be high. Candidates who appeared in the REET exam also shared their feedback saying that if any aspirant has solved 120 to 130 questions correctly, then they might get selected easily.

Despite the REET 2021 exam being held amid tight security, five people were arrested in Bikaner with 'bluetooth slippers'.
