NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) began the registration for SSC CGL 2023 exam on April 3. The commission released the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2023 (SSC CGL 2023) notification yesterday for around 7,500 vacancies. Candidates must note that the SSC CGL 2023 application last date is May 3.

Applicants interested in applying for various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different ministries, departments, organisations of Government of India etc will have to check the eligibility criteria before registering.

The SSC CGL notification 2023 has the details of the exam date, age limit, syllabus, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, reservation criteria. The commission also announced that the SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2023 will be held in July. Applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria will have to submit their application form on the official website, ssc.nic.in.

For the posts for which age limit is 18-27 years

Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2005.

For the posts for which age limit is 20-30 years

Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1993 and not later than 01-08-2003.

For the posts for which age limit is 18-30 years

Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1993 and not later than 01-08-2005.

For the post for which age limit is 18-32 years

Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2005.

Those who fall under the 18-30 year category will be able to apply for pay level-8 with a salary range between Rs 47,600 to Rs 1,51,100; some posts under pay level-7 with salary range between Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 and pay level-6 with salary of Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.

However, those applicants falling under the age category of 18-27 will be considered eligible for pay level-5 with RS 29,200 to Rs 92,300 salary and pay level-4 with Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 salary range.
