BHU Admission 2023: Registration starts for UG programmes; application link

NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has shortlisted three of its students to visit Japan. The students will take part in the Global management programme (GMP) of UNIQLO. The selected students are Richik Mukherjee, Ritu Kumar and Supriya Pandey.
The global management programme is a five-day long intensive program held annually, a statement issued by the university said. The students were selected on the basis of their academic background, statement of purpose and personal interaction with UNIQLO.

In the five-day long programme, the students will be tasked to tackle several global issues and find solutions to it by collaborating with different students from various backgrounds and having discussions with business specialists.
Professor at the university, NV Chalapathi Rao said, ‘Those students who perform exceedingly well in GMP may also be considered for job opportunities’.
Under the programme, the students get an opportunity to attend business sessions with global market specialists, in order to gain insights on world industry and business. UNIQLO will sponsor the BHU students for all the expenses, that include travelling, lodging, boarding etc.
