Tripura Board Class 10, 12 exams will be held as per schedule: Education Minister

NEW DELHI: The Tripura government has announced that the Class 10 and Class 12 exams will be held as per the schedule. However, the government has decided to close all schools, colleges and universities in the state from April 17, 2021 (Saturday). The decision was taken in view of the increasing number of Coronavirus cases.

“Due to surges in COVID-19 cases, it has been decided that from 17.04.2021 all the classes for schools, colleges and universities which are under the state government (Including private Institutions) would remain closed until further order. Only the pre-scheduled exams will be held,” said Tripura education minister Ratan Lal Nath.

Tripura government has already closed schools for Class 1 and 2 and now due to the spike in the number of cases, educational institutions will be closed for all the classes. In case of changes, the government will release a revised notice for parents, teachers and students.

For now, TBSE Madhyamik exams 2021 will be conducted from May 19 to June 4, 2021. Whereas the TBSE 12th exams 2021 will be conducted from May 18 to June 11, 2021. Students are advised to regularly check the official website - tbse.in to keep themselves updated. Several other states have already cancelled and postponed their board exams due to COVID-19.
