UPSC Combined Geo-Scientists Admit Card 2020 for Prelims Released

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 26: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the prelims admit card of UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2020 in online mode on December 26, 2019 at their website - upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can download the admit card till January 19, 2020 (till 4 pm). To download the admit card, candidates must use their registration ID/roll number in the login window. The admit card of UPSC Combined Geo-Scientists contains the details related to the candidates and the examination. How to download UPSC Combined Geo-Scientists Admit Card?

  • Visit the official website of UPSC - upsconline.nic.in
  • Click on e-admit cards for various UPSC examination options.
  • On the next window click download option against Combined Geo-Scientist 2020
  • Read the important instructions carefully
  • Click on ‘yes’ button after reading the instructions
  • Enter registration ID/roll number and date of birth followed by the captcha code
  • Use the download link to avail the admit card
  • Save and print a copy of the admit card

The prelims admit card of UPSC Combined Geo-Scientists contains the following details:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Category
  • Registration ID
  • Roll number
  • Photograph and signature
  • Exam date, time and venue

In case any error is spotted in the e-admit card, candidates must immediately contact UPSC at skindo-upsc@gov.in and get the discrepancies rectified at the earliest. To contact the commission, candidates must mention their name, roll number, registration ID, name and year of the examination in all correspondences with the UPSC.

Candidates are required to bring the admit card and a valid photo ID card to the examination venue. If one does not have a clear photograph on the e-admit card, he/she must bring one of the prescribed photo identity proof - Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID Card, etc along with two passport size photographs.

Guidelines:

  • Safekeeping of any valuables/costly items cannot be assured and therefore candidates should not bring such items to the examination hall.
  • If possible, applicants should visit the exam centres of Combined Geo-Scientists one day before to have an idea of the route, traffic and to avoid last-minute confusions.
  • Applicants should note that they shall not be allowed to appear at any other examination venue except the designated venue mentioned in the e-admit card.
  • Phone/microphone/pager, calculator, camera, tape recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets, etc. are not allowed in the examination hall. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examination.

UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2020 exam is scheduled to be held on January 19, 2020, across 19 centres of the country. This exam is conducted in three stages - prelims (objective type), mains (descriptive type) and personality test. The computer based prelims examination will have two papers -paper I and II. Only those candidates who are declared qualified in the prelims stage will be able to take the mains exam while the mains qualified candidates will have to appear for the personality test.
