UPSC CSE 2022 result out; Ishita Kishore secures AIR 1, female candidates grab top 4 ranks

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Service Examination 2022 result. This year, Ishita Kishore grabbed the All India Rank (AIR 1) followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra. The UPSC CSE result is available for download on the official website, upsc.gov.in.

A total number of 933 candidates have been recommended for appointment to these services after the selection process. Out of the total candidates, 345 belong to the general category, 99 are from EWS, 263 from OBC, 154 from SC and 72 from the ST category.

The UPSC CSE preliminary exam was held on June 5, 2022, and the results were released on June 22. The main exam was from September 16 to 25. The results were declared on December 6 and the interview round was on May 18.
