NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the IES/ISS application form withdrawal window today. Candidates who wish to withdraw their candidature can do the same by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. As per the notice released by the UPSC, the request for generating the OTP (One Time Password) for withdrawal of application will be accepted only till 5.30 PM on the closing date (May 10, 2021). UPSC has also mentioned on its official website that once the application is withdrawn, it cannot be revived at a later stage, under any circumstances.

The application fee for UPSC IES/ISS will not be refunded by the UPSC in this case, however, the attempt will not be count.

How to withdraw the UPSC IES/ISS application form 2021?

  • Visit the official website - upsconline.nic.in

  • Click on "Online request for withdrawal of application for various examinations of UPSC”.

  • In the new window, candidates have to click on the "Click here" button adjacent to the exam for which they wish to withdraw the application form.

  • Read the instructions on the next page after clicking "Click here" and click on "Yes".

  • Enter the registration number and click on "Continue" to proceed.

After candidates have successfully withdrawn their application form, an auto-generated email and SMS will be sent to their email-id and mobile. UPSC has also shared a contact address for candidates who have not submitted their request for withdrawal of application, they may contact UPSC at - upscsoap@nic.in.

After the final acceptance of the withdrawal request candidate's must print the authenticated receipt. Once the application is withdrawn, it will not be revived in future.
