UPTET 2021 Live: UP TET cancelled due to paper leak, Check exam dates

UPTET exam latest news 2021 - As per the reposts, Prashant Kumar, ADG, Law & Order said that the UPTET 2021 exam scheduled to be held today stands cancelled due to an alleged paper leak. Dozens of suspects were detained by Special Task Force (STF) in the paper leak case, the investigation is on. Uttar Pradesh government will conduct the exam again within a month.

As per the reports, the UPTET 2021 exam has been cancelled. The UPTET 2021 exam was scheduled to be held today, November 28 for two papers. According to the latest updates, the UPTET 2021 question paper has been leaked through the WhatsApp group. The UPBEB will announce the revised exam dates of UPTET 2021 later online on the official website - updeled.gov.in.

Candidates have to carry UPTET admit card 2021 to the exam centre, without which entry will not be allowed. Candidates along with a valid id proof have to carry two photographs same as the one uploaded while applying for the UPTET 2021 exam.  

UPBEB will announce the UPTET 2021 result online on the official website on December 28, 2021. Candidates can check the UPTET result 2021 by entering their valid login credentials including roll number and password.

In case of any discrepancy in the UPTET answer key 2021, candidates can challenge or object the answer key till December 6, 2021. The final UPTET 2021 answer key will be released after considering the objections raised by candidates on December 24, 2021.

Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will publish the preliminary UPTET answer key on December 2, 2021. Candidates will be able to download the UPTET answer key 2021 as pdf by clicking on the necessary link. The answer key of UPTET is released separately for paper 1 and paper 2. Candidates can download the UPTET answer key 2021 for both papers separately in the pdf form.

Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has started the UPTET 2021 exam today, November 28 at 10.00 am. The UPTET 2021 exam will be conducted for two and a half hours. The UPTET shift 1 exam will conclude at 12:20 pm.

The security guards have closed the UPTET exam centre's gate now. Hereafter, no candidates will be permitted to enter the exam centre. The UPTET 2021 exam will begin sharply at 10:00 am. 

Candidates are rushing into the UPTET 2021 exam centre as the last few minutes of entry are left. Security guards are ready with the padlocks to lock the gates. The UPTET exam centres gate will close anytime soon.

All the candidates who would appear in the UPTET 2021 exam, must maintain decorum inside the exam hall and not indulge in any kind of unfair means. If any candidate is found either talking or disturbing anyone in the UPTET exam hall, then strict action will be taken against that person. 

No, candidates are not allowed to do any kind of rough work on the UPTET OMR sheet. However, the space for the rough work will be available on the test booklet, candidates can do all the rough work there.  Candidates are allowed to take the test booklet along with them. While answering the question in the UPTET exam, candidates must analyze their answers before filling the OMR sheet. However, students have the liberty to answer all the questions as there is no negative marking in the UPTET 2021 exam.

Candidates need to be quite attentive while filling the OMR sheet and answering the questions. Minor mistakes will lead to the disqualification of the candidate from the UPTET exam 2021.

• Do not use a pencil anywhere in the OMR sheet

• Do not fold the UPTET answer sheet

• Do not make any specific mark or write anything other than the required details and the answer choice.

• While answering the question, make sure that the circle is properly filled. Do not leave it half-filled or light-shaded.

•  If you the candidate do not want to answer any question, leave the circle empty

• Make sure that your answer is correct then fill the circle. Candidates are not allowed to change the answer or cross mark the filled circle.

The UPTET 2021 OMR will be specific which will be scanned through an optical scanner. Candidates need to fill in the required details neatly to avoid any disqualification. The details that need to fill are:

• Candidate’s Name

• Father’s/Husband’s Name

• Mother’s Name

• Centre Code

• Category

• Centre Name (as mentioned on the UPTET admit card 2021)

• Roll number

• Test booklet number

• UPTET question paper series

• Language choice (in which language you will answer the question)

• Signature of invigilator

• Candidate’s Signature

• Choice of the subject for Paper 2 (if the candidate is appearing for Paper 2)

The exam pattern for UPTET 2021 includes the medium, mode, marking scheme. In the table that is given below, candidates can check the total number of questions, marking scheme, sections from which the questions will be asked in the UPTET exam.

The UPTET 2021 question paper will have multiple choice questions and candidates will have to identify the correct answer and colour the circle with the black ballpoint pen. Candidates must not use any other colour ballpoint pen or pencil. Also, candidates should not try to change the answer by erasing it or adding a whitener as then the OMR sheet will not be evaluated.

Before the commencement of the UPTET 2021 exam, the invigilator will read out some important instructions which the candidates must ensure that they follow. The instructions will be pertaining to how and when to open the UPTET question test booklet, how to answer the questions when to leave the exam hall and also regarding the conduct of the candidate in the exam hall.

UPBEB is going to commence the UPTET Paper 1 exam from 10 am across various centres. Paper 2 of the UPTET 2021 exam will be conducted from 2:30 om to 5 pm today. UPTET 2021 result will be announced on December 28.

During the UPTET exam 2021, the invigilator will check the UPTET admit card 2021 for the assurance of a student’s identity. After checking all the details, the invigilator will sign the admit card. In case of any doubt, the invigilator can take the student to the UPTET 2021 exam centre authority for clarification. The UPTET exam 2021 will start and end according to the scheduled time as mentioned on the admit card.

• Use a BLACK ball-point pen only to fill the OMR sheet

Candidates are not allowed to use tobacco, smoking or any form of illegal activities in the UPTET exam hall. If someone gets caught, they will be disqualified and strict action will be taken. Spitting on the walls of the UPTET exam hall is strictly prohibited. All the important instructions are clearly mentioned on the UPTET admit card 2021 regarding the UPTET exam day. Some of the candidates who had arrived at the UPTET 2021 exam centre, said that they had ample time to prepare well for the UPTET exam. 

Aditi Singh said, “ I had more than six months’ time to prepare for the UPTET 2021 exam and I am happy that the government has announced that the eligibility certificate of UPTET will now be valid for a lifetime.”

Another candidate, Rajeev said that online tips from experts and some coaching institutes helped him to prepare well for the UPTET exam. He added, “I am confident of scoring more than 100 marks.”

The UPTET 2021 admit card was released on November 19, 2021. Candidates appearing for the UPTET 2021 exam can download the hall ticket from the official website - updeled.gov.in. Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) frames the UPTET paper 1 and 2 marking scheme. Both the papers are of 150 marks, where each question carries 1 mark each. There is no negative marking in the UPTET exam too. Check the table below to know the exact UPTET 2021 marking scheme.

UPTET 2021 marking scheme and exam pattern

Candidates are not allowed to carry any eatables, soft or hard drinks, electronics, bluetooth devices or any form of paper that might be considered as cheating material is not permitted inside the UPTET exam centre. Certain exceptions are made in case the candidate has a certain medical condition, then they are allowed to carry their medication, etc. with the prior permission of the authorities. Candidates on the day of the UPTET exam need to follow all the COVID-19 protocols as laid down by the authorities. Those in violation of these guidelines will not be allowed to appear for the UPTET 2021 exam. Some of the coronavirus exam day guidelines are as follows:

• Wear a face mask or shield for the full duration of the exam.
• Carry your own hand sanitizer in a transparent bottle.
• Drinking water in a transparent bottle is permitted in the examination hall.
• Applicants with COVID-19 symptoms won’t be allowed to give the exam.

On the day of the exam, candidates need to carry the UPTET admit card 2021 along with an original valid photo identity card issued by a competent authority. In case the photo on the admit card is not clear they also need to carry 2 identical photographs too same as the one uploaded while applying for the UPTET 2021 exam. The applicants appearing for the UPTET 2021 must adhere to the exam day guidelines and instructions as set by the authorities for the smooth conduct of the examination. Some of the UPTET exam day instructions are as follows:

1. All COVID-19 and social distancing protocols must be followed by everyone.

2. No electronic devices, gadgets, bluetooth devices or study material is allowed inside the UPTET exam centre.

3. The UPTET admit card 2021 and an original valid photo ID should be present with the candidates on the exam day.

4. Latecomers will not be allowed to appear for the UPTET 2021 exam.

5. Check the UPTET question booklet for any misprints or missing pages and bring it to the notice of the authorities.

6. The UPTET question paper 2021 booklet should be opened 5 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
