NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 exam new dates have been announced by the Basic Education Department and it will now be held on January 23, 2022. UPTET result 2021 will be declared on February 25, 2022.

UPTET 2021 will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 10am to 12:30pm and the second shift will be conducted from 2:30pm to 5pm.

According to the schedule, the UPTET answer key 2021 will be released on January 27, 2022. Candidates will be able to raise objections in the answer key on February 1, 2022. The UPTET 2021 final answer key will be released on February 23, 2022.

The UPTET exam 2021 scheduled to be held on November 28 was cancelled due to a paper leak. Just after the exam began, the UP TET question paper went viral on several WhatsApp groups in Mathura, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr.

The Special Task Force (STF) arrested as many as 23 persons last night using technical and other intelligence from different cities of UP. This includes four from Lucknow, 13 from Prayagraj, three from the Meerut STF and one from Kaushambi district.

Approximately 20 lakhs candidates had registered for the UPTET 2021 exam. The UPTET 2021 exam was scheduled to be conducted at several exam centres across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

On December 1, a demand was made in the Rajya Sabha to set up a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the UTET paper leak case.

During the Zero Hour, Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh said that many such exam papers have been leaked in the past. The latest leak that happened on November 18 came to the knowledge of students after they reached the exam hall. About 36 people have been arrested in the question paper leak case, which has affected the lives of lakhs of students. This need to be probed by SIT, he added.
