16 Kendriya Vidyalaya Students to Watch the Landing of Chandrayaan-2

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 5: 16 students of Kendriya Vidyalaya are going to witness the landing of Chandrayaan-2 along with PM Narendra Modi on September 7, 2019 from the ISRO Control Room, ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) facility in Bengaluru.

1,50,279 Kendriya Vidyalayas students from across the nation participated in the online quiz conducted by ISRO in the month of August. Out of this, 16 Kendriya Vidyalaya students are selected to witness the moment in Bengaluru.

Online space quiz for the students of class 8 – 10 was conducted by ISRO in coordination with MyGov.in from August 10 to 25, 2019 to increase awareness about space programs. Students have to give “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time” in order to get qualified. The duration of the quiz was 10 minutes (600 Seconds) during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.

Two top-scoring students from each State and Union Territory are invited to ISRO, Bengaluru Centre to watch the landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the Moon, live along with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 7, 2019.
