NEW DELHI, February 8: On day two of BSEB intermediate examination, 29 students have been dismissed for using unfair means during examination along with the arrest of five impersonators. As per reports, four cases were reported from Nawada, Madhubani and Nalanda each, three each from Saharsa and Buxar, two each from Sheikhpura, Rohtas and Samastipur and one each from Katihar, Madhepura, Gaya, Banka and Sitamarhi. Out of the five impersonators arrested, three were from Nawada and two belonged to Saharsa district.
More than 5 lakh students had appeared in the first shift for the language paper while and in the second shift around 1 thousand students appeared in computer science, 51 in multimedia and more than 700 in the foundation course.
BSEB officials along with board chairman, Anand Kishor have taken special measures to avoid the practice of any unfair means at the examination centres. They themselves go for rounds at various exam centres. Invigilators are given strict instructions and if they fail to do their duties, actions would be taken against them also.
