Jobs: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University students from engineering, computer science and commerce streams have secured the offers.

NEW DELHI: Graduates of Jamia Millia Islamia university have bagged job offers from more than 10 multinational companies, through the placement drive organised by the university’s placements cell. The placement drive began in August, said a statement from Jamia.
The students who received placement offers were from engineering, computer science and commerce streams. The highest package offered at the campus placement drive by the companies is Rs 14 lakhs per annum and the average package offered was Rs 7 lakhs per annum. The placement drive is still on.
Some of the biggest brands which have offered jobs to students are TCS, IBM, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, EXL Services, Josh Technology, ZS Associates, Innovacer, Publicis Sapient, Infoedge and IBM.
The placement drive was organised by A Jaffery, director, university placement cell. Many of the students already have job offers but as the university has established strong industry links the university says that more companies are lined up for the coming month.
