NEW DELHI - The Indian Air Force (IAF) has postponed that AFCAT 02/2020 exam. The AFCAT 02/2020 which was scheduled to be held on September 19 and 20, 2020 will now be held on October 03 & 04. The decision to postpone the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) comes in view of the prevailing COVID-19 situation in India. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released a one-line notice on its official website @afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/.

The AFCAT 02/2020 exam is conducted by IAF to recruit Class-I Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical). Earlier, IAF released the AFCAT 02/2020 application form on June 15, 2020, which was to be filled till July 14. After the candidates are shortlisted they will undergo training for all courses at Air Force Academy in Hyderabad. For flying and ground duty (Technical) branches the duration of training will be 74 weeks while for ground duty (non-technical) it will be 52 weeks.
