Free DownloadNEW DELHI, AUGUST 24: The exam of AFCAT II has begun on August 24, 2019. The exam is being conducted by India Air Force (IAF) across major Indian cities on August 24 and 25, 2019. However, the AFCAT exam for Centres at Srinagar has been recheduled, the intimation of which will be given later to the candidates. Only those candidates have been allowed to appear in the exam who have their admit card along with a valid photo ID. The admit card for this exam was issued on August 5, 2019.

AFCAT II consists of 4 sections - General Awareness, Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Aptitude Test. Candidates have to attempt 100 questions of 3 marks each in 2 hours, with a negative marking of 1 mark against wrong answers.
Based on marks secured in the online test, candidates will be shortlisted to appear for AFSB Interview. Next, IAF will conduct a medical test, After that, the conducting authority will prepare the final merit list and based on the final merit list, candidates will be selected for recruitment to various branches of AFCAT as Permanent/Short Service Commission.
Candidates who have applied for the Ground Duty (Technical Branch) need to appear for an additional Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). This test is going to be conducted after completion of the online test and will carry 150 marks.
AFCAT Exam is conducted twice a year to recruit candidates as Commissioned/ Class 1 Gazetted Officer in Flying, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical branches) and Meteorology entry for grant of Permanent/ Short Service Commission in Indian Air Force.
