NEW DELHI: The Bar Council of India (BCI) will conduct the AIBE XVI (16) 2021 exam on October 31, 2021 in pen and paper-based mode. In order to score well in AIBE XVI (16) 2021, candidates should be familiar with the types of questions asked, number of questions, marking scheme, test duration and topics from which questions will be framed. With the help of these, they can make exam day strategy and avoid any chaos on exam day.

The council has already released the admit cards for AIBE XVI (16) 2021 on October 11, 2021. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging into the AIBE registration portal.

AIBE XVI (16) Exam Pattern 2021

  • As per the official exam pattern, the AIBE XVI (16) exam 2021 is no longer an open book exam. However, the council has in a recent notification announced that candidates will be allowed to use Bare Acts with short notes/comments during the examination.

  • Candidates have to answer 100 multiple choice questions within a time duration of 3 hours 30 minutes. Candidates will have to record their answer in OMR sheets that will be provided by invigilators along with the question booklet.

  • As per the marking scheme, each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking in the All India Bar Examination.

Qualifying Marks in AIBE XVI (16) 2021

To qualify the AIBE Certification based examination, candidates belonging to general category will have to score at least 40% marks. Whereas, SC and ST category candidates are given relaxation of 5% and are hence required to score a minimum of 35% marks.

AIBE XVI (16) Syllabus 2021

The topics and subtopics from which the questions in AIBE XVI (16) 2021 will be asked have been prescribed by the Bar Council of India on its official website - allindiabarexamination.com. The AIBE syllabus includes the topics of common LLB subjects such as Constitutional and Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, IPC, CPC and other related subjects.
