AIIMS PG 2019 Counselling: Mock round result announced; First round of counselling starts

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 5: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has declared the result of mock round of AIIMS PG counselling 2019 on December 5, 2018 and has started the round one of counselling. Candidates whose names were included in the PG merit list, released on November 23, are eligible to fill their choices of colleges and courses for the round one of counselling. The facility to exercise choices will be disabled on December 6, after 5.00 PM.

AIIMS PG 2019 Mock Result

The process of mock counselling is conducted to provide candidates an estimate about the seats they are likely to get on the basis of their merit rank. Keeping in mind the mock result, candidates can submit preferences in the round one. The mock counselling result has been declared in the form of the seat allotment list, which includes the name of the candidates, roll number, qualifying status, allotted AIIMS Institute, and specialisation.

First round of AIIMS PG 2019 Counselling

The choice filling process for the first round of AIIMS PG 2019 counselling has been started. Candidates can check the procedure to fill the choices below.

Step 1: To participate in the first round of counselling, aspirants need to login using the registration ID, password and captcha code. The counselling tab will be activated for those candidates who are eligible to participate.

Step 2: Thereafter, by entering the name and candidate ID, candidates can make their choices of institutes and specialty/course. One can select as many choices as they wish and can also delete it. Click on save button to preserve the choices.

Step 3: Once the final submission is done, click on ‘submit and lock choices’. In order to lock the preferences, click on ‘I Agree the Declaration’ box. No changes can be made after the choices are locked.  In case, students forget to lock the filled in choices, then the choices will get automatically locked.

Step 4: The preferences of colleges filled by aspirants can be viewed. It is suggested to take a printout of choices locked during AIIMS PG counselling round one for future references.

AIIMS PG Counselling 2019 First round result

AIIMS, New Delhi will declare the result of AIIMS PG 2019 counselling first round on December 11, 2018, in online mode. It will consist candidate’s name, roll number, AIIMS PG rank and institute allotted for admission.

The seat allotment process will be done on the basis of choices filled, AIIMS PG merit position and seats availability, for admission to 437 MD/MS and 14 MDS seats offered by seven AIIMS located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh.

Once the seat allotment is over, the selected candidates need to report to the allotted AIIMS along with the original and photocopy of the relevant documents for verification and a demand draft of Rs. 3,00,000. The DD should be drawn in the name of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi.
