AIIMS PG 2020 basic registration ends today; read details here
NEW DELHI, August 27: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi is going to conclude the basic registration process of AIIMS PG 2020 on August 27 at 5:00 PM. The authority will upload the status of acceptance of the basic registration on September 3 based on which candidates will be able to make correction till September 9. Those candidates who have successfully completed their basic registration for the January or July session in 2019 will not be required to do it again. Such candidates will have to complete the final registration only. Candidates seeking admission in postgraduate courses in seven AIIMS institutes located in the country are required to fill the Prospective Application Advanced Registration( PAAR) process to be able to appear for the AIIMS PG 2020 entrance exam.
Who is eligible to apply?
Candidates who hold a medical degree or a dental degree from an institute recognised by the Medical Council or Dental Council of India.
Candidates must have completed their 12-month rotatory internship on or before January 2020.
Candidates (general category) must have scored an aggregate of 55% marks in MBBS, candidates belonging to SC/ST category must secure 50%. PWD category candidates must secure the aggregate percentage of marks of the respective category they belong to.

What after basic registration?
Once a candidate has successfully submitted the basic registration, candidates will be required to rectify erroneous images (if needed) as directed by the exam conducting authority. The final status of the same after correction of images will be uploaded on September 16. The facility to generate a unique registration code (RUC) will be made available from September 16 to October 11. Candidates who will complete the basic registration will be able to proceed to the final registration process only with the help of the RUC.
AIIMS PG 2020 (January session)
For the January session of AIIMS PG, candidates will be applying for admission to around 515 seats in the Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), and MCh courses in the seven AIIMS institutes. The computer-based postgraduate medical entrance test is scheduled to conducted on November 17, 2019
