Check NowNew Delhi : All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the much-awaited AIIMS PG 2020 result on June 18. The result has been declared in PDF format and online mode. Candidates can download the result from aiimsexams.org . A total of 4,545 candidates have qualified the examination which is one of the most prestigious and sought after medical and dental postgraduate entrance exams of the nation.
AIIMS PG/MDS for the July session was conducted on June 11, 2020, for admission to 643 MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh seats offered in seven AIIMS institutes located in Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Nagpur and Rishikesh. For more details on the declaration of result check the news below.

Having seen the toppers and their percentile, it is important for candidates to secure the minimum category-wise qualifying percentile AIIMS PG 2020 cut off. The cutoff for all categories is 50th percentile. The corresponding percentile score has been provided in the table that follows.

An insight to the statistics
As per the result PDF of AIIMS PG, AIR 1 has secured 100.000 percentile in the examination followed by 269 candidates securing 99 percentile. With slight differences in the numbers that follow the decimal, these 269 candidates have secured different ranks between 2-270.
The last postgraduate aspirant included in the merit list has secured a percentile of 50.486. There were massive protests behind the conduction of exams and many demanded re-conduction of the same due to COVID-19 outbreak. However, the authorities have now declared the results and all the qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the first round of counselling, dates of which will be announced soon.
