AILET 2027 registration begins for BA LLB, LLM admissions; eligibility, fee

Mock TestThe National Law University (NLU) Delhi has started the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2027 registration for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes. Eligible candidates can register for the AILET examination through the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
Candidates have to enter their name, email and select their applicant type as part of the AILET 2027 registration process.
The university will conduct the AILET 2027 examination on December 13 in a single shift from 2 pm to 4 pm for admission to NLU, UG, PG law programmes and PhD courses.
As per the eligibility criteria for BA LLB courses, law aspirants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination. General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates should have at least 45%, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) applicants must have 40% in Class 12.
Moreover, those seeking admission to LLM programmes , should have passed or appearing in the final year of a 3-year or 5-year LLB course. General, OCB, EWS should have 50%, while SC, ST, and PwD should have 45% in graduation.
The registration fee for General, OCB, EWS, and foreign applicants is Rs 3,000, whereas, the SC, ST, and PwD candidates should have to pay Rs 1,000 as application charges.
AILET 2027: Documents required for registration
Candidates can check the list of documents required for AILET 2027 registration from below.
- Class 10 marksheet and certificate
- Class 12 marksheet and certificate
- LLB marksheets and degree certificate (for AILET PG LLM)
- Recent passport-size colour photograph with a white background (JPG or JPEG format, maximum 1 MB)
- Scanned signature (JPG or JPEG format, maximum 1 MB)
- Valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, passport or voter ID
- SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, or J and K category certificate, if claiming reservation
- BPL certificate (only for eligible SC, ST and women candidates claiming fee exemption with maximum 2 MB)
- Passport (mandatory for foreign nationals, maximum 2 MB)
- Valid email ID and mobile number.
Notably, SC, ST and women candidates who are Below Poverty Line BPL) category, do not need to pay registration fee for AILET 2027. The pen-and-paper AILET 2027 exam paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions.
