AISSEE 2025: Sainik School Class 6, 9 registration ends today; application fee, eligibility criteria

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application window for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025 for Class 6 and 9 for Sainik Schools today, January 13. Students can register for AISSEE 2025 online through the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/.

According to the NTA’s official notice, the AISSEE 2025 exam date is yet to be announced by the conducting body. The online submission of the application form ends on January 13, 2025, at 5 pm. The AISSEE 2025 fee payment window will close tomorrow, January 14, 2025, at 11:50 pm.

Candidates belonging to the general category have to pay Rs 800 and SC, and ST category students have to pay Rs 650 as an application fee. The AISSEE 2025 exam will be held offline in pen-paper mode and will be conducted across 190 cities across the country.

Sainik School Admissions 2025: Eligibility for Classes 6 and 9

Students studying in Class 5 in a recognized school and whose age is between 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2025, can apply. Students who have passed the Class VIII exam from a recognized school aged between 13 and 15 years as of March 31, 2025. Students should been born between April 01, 2010, and March 31, 2012.

For Class 6 admission, there will be 125 questions in the test paper from four topics – Language, Mathematics, Intelligence and General Knowledge – for 300 marks. In Language, Intelligence and General Knowledge, each question will carry two marks, and the total marks in these sections will be 50. In Mathematics, there will be 50 questions for 150 marks.

• Your application number will be sent to your registered email and phone number.
• Fill in the application form for AISSEE 2025 and click on submit.
