NEW DELHI: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will begin the choice-filling process for the third round of the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission (UPTAC) counselling 2023 for BTech and BArch tomorrow.

Candidates participating in the round 3 of the UPTAC counselling 2023 can fill their choices through the official website, uptac.admissions.nic.in.

The last date for filling out the online willingness form freeze, float, and paying the seat acceptance fee by the candidates allotted seats in round 2 of UPTAC 2023 counselling for BTech, BArch is today.

Those willing to accept the allotted seat under the second round from the unreserved and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 20,000 while the SC and ST categories candidates will have to deposit Rs 12,000 as the seat acceptance fee.

The AKTU stated that the candidates who are considering withdrawing their admissions and allotted seat in the second round of the UPTAC counselling for BTech, and BArch programmes will be refunded a fee of Rs 15000 for the unreserved students and Rs 9000 will be refunded to the reserved candidates.

The authority will publish the seat allotment result for the third round on September 26. AKTU will host a total of six rounds of counselling. Candidates will not have an option to fill choices from round 4 to 5.

According to AKTU, the seats will be allotted for admission to the BTech programmes in the state based on the score obtained by the student in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance 2023 while the BArch admissions will be granted based on the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2023) results.
