AMET 2020 rescheduled; application form available till August 14

NEW DELHI: The Academy of Maritime Education and Training has rescheduled AMET 2020 entrance test to August 21. Candidates will now be able to fill the AMET application form till August 14 in online mode. The authorities have already cancelled AMET 2020 for all other courses and the test is being conducted only for B.E Marine Engineering & B.Sc Nautical Science. A.P. Moller - MAERSK and AMET is jointly being conducted as the admission cum recruitment process.

Previously, the AMET test was supposed to be conducted on August 2 and candidates could apply in online mode till July 30. However, the same has been postponed as well as rescheduled to August.

AMET 2020 is an undergraduate entrance examination which is conducted by Academy of Maritime Education and Training as a computer based test. It is a national level entrance test for admissions into specified courses at the university. Candidates have to appear for the exam having multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, English Grammar and General Aptitude. The exam shall be conducted at 20 examination cities across various exam centres.
