NEW DELHI: Anant School for Climate Action, Ahmedabad, is inviting applications for admission to its Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programme in climate change. This four-year undergraduate engineering degree programme offers a full-time curriculum aimed to equip students with the expertise to develop technological solutions to address climate challenges.

Candidates who want to get admission to this BTech programme should apply by April 30, 2024, at admissions.anu.edu.in. As per the institute, the students will students engage in hands-on learning through real-world industry climate projects from the first semester. The curriculum covers topics in eight specific climate technology domains.

During the last two semesters, students will be able to choose courses aligned with their interests, resulting in an exploration of climate technology applications for innovation, business, or policy. The students will also get an industry internship in their final semester to bridge the gap between theory and practice, the institute said.

Anant National University Admission 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria given below before applying for the BTech programme in climate change.

  • Candidates should have passed Class 12 with physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science, electronics, information technology, biology, informatics practices, biotechnology, technical vocational subjects, agriculture, engineering graphics, business studies, or entrepreneurship.

  • Candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects, with 40% marks acceptable for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

  • Students will be tested for their understanding of climate-related problems and solutions through SOP and interviews.

The University will offer suitable bridge courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry during the first and second semesters, for students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare a level playing field for the desired learning outcomes of the programme.
