Andhra Pradesh innovation society, CTE join to set up Center of Excellence for IT, Cyber Security

The Consortium for Technical Education (CTE) Andhra Pradesh has signed an agreement with AP innovation society to set up a Centre of Excellence in information technology and cyber security
NEW DELHI : The Consortium of Technical Education (CTE) signed an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh innovative society today on March 22, 2023. The agreement was aimed at establishing a centre of excellence in Information technology and ensuring cyber security for universities, engineering colleges, polytechnics, schools and government departments throughout Andhra Pradesh state, a statement from CTE said.
The partnership with Andhra Pradesh innovative society will help us take a step further in achieving our mission of advocating product-oriented entrepreneurship, giving them access to world-class centre of excellence in IT and cybersecurity, to counter their security challenges and support their innovation and growth’.

The agreement was signed in presence of minister of industries, infrastructure, investment and commerce and Information technology of Andhra Pradesh, Gudivada Amarnath. On the occasion, CTE Director, KA Alagarsamy said, ‘We are building a network of Centre of excellence in Information technology and cyber security in association with several states in India to facilitate innovations, start-up entrepreneurship and help bridge the gaps in knowledge between academia and the industry.
Chief strategy officer of CTE said, ‘We have always aspired to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and start-ups among the entrepreneurs, researchers and students. Our association with APIS will enable us to guide entrepreneurs through the technical programs designed to address the prevailing information and cybersecurity challenges that hamper their growth and development’.
