Andhra University to conduct entrance test for CTU Andhra Pradesh

NEW DELHI: Andhra University, the mentor to Central Tribal University, Andhra Pradesh has been given the responsibility to conduct entrance examination for admission to PG, PG Diploma and Integrated M.Sc and MBA programmes offered by CTU Andhra Pradesh. The entrance test will be known as Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test.

Last year, the admissions were done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by Indira Gandhi Central Tribal University Amarkantak. The entrance test will be conducted on July 30.

Central Tribal University, Andhra Pradesh has launched two new programmes, Master in Journalism and Mass Communication and five year integrated M.Sc Geology for upcoming academic session.The university offers various PG, PG Diploma and Integrated M.Sc and MBA programmes.

A total of 20 seats is offered for each PG programme, whereas a total of 20 seats is offered for each PG Diploma and Integrated programmes. Admission to programmes offered by the university will be done through an entrance test conducted by CTU itself.

The entrance examination will be conducted in six different cities, Hyderabad, Guntur, Rayagada, Berahampura, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam.

CTU began its first batch from 2019. Presently, Andhra University is the mentor university for CTU.
