Try NowNEW DELHI : The Department of Technical Education has allowed a special round of AP EAMCET counselling 2023. As per the schedule, the web options entry will begin from tomorrow on the official website, cets.apsche.gov.in. The decision was taken after representations from students who could not get admissions in the last special round.

“It is informed that Engineering admission counseling process through EAPCET-2023 is completed in all respects as per G.O Ms.no. 74 and 75 dt. 28.07.2011. Inspite of that, there were representations from candidates who could not secure admission for special round of admissions,” the APSCHE said in an official notice.
The special round counselling for Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture, and Medicine Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2023 will be held with the following conditions:
- Vacant seats in universities and constituent colleges are not open for admissions
- Candidates who have already registered and who are not admitted in any college under convener or spot admissions are eligible
- No fresh registrations are permitted
- JVD scheme is applicable to the candidates admitted in this special round

The following candidates will be eligible for options entry:
- Who has secured seat but not shown interest to join/admit in the allotted seat.
- Who have not secured seats so far, but got their certificates verified.
- Who have not exercised the options so far, but got their certificates verified.
- Who have reported or not reported but cancelled their allotment.
