NEW DELHI : The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2024 registration will begin tomorrow, March 6, as per media reports. Sri Krishnadevaraya University has released the AP ICET 2024 notification in local newspapers. The entrance exam will be conducted on May 6 and 7 for admission to MBA and MCA programmes offered by state management institutes for the academic year 2024-25.
Eligible and interested students will be able to apply for the AP ICET exam 2024 on the official website of state higher education, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Students who have studied and passed a 3 or 4-year degree course in any faculty conducted by the universities or its equivalent degree examination as recognized by the University Grants Commission are eligible.
In order to apply, candidates belonging to the OC category will have to pay Rs 650 while the application fee for BC candidates will be Rs 600, as per the notification. SC and ST applicants will need to make a fee payment of Rs 550. The last date to apply for the MBA entrance exam without a late fee is April 7, 2024.
AP ICET 2024 will be held in two shifts – 9 am to 11:30 am and 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Panatula Murali Krishna is the convenor of the exam this year, the notification read. The AP ICET 2024 question paper will contain 200 marks on different topics. Candidates will have to score 25% marks in the exam in order to pass.
Last year, Thapala Jagadish Kumar Reddy secured the first rank in the exam with 169 marks followed by Vedantam Sai Venkata Kartik and Putluru Rohith. A total of 44,343 candidates had appeared in the AP ICET exam.
