NEW DELHI: Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training has extended the registration deadline for the AP Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) 2024 till April 10, 2024. Interested candidates can fill out the AP POLYCET 2024 application form through the official website, polycetap.nic.in.

The official website read, “POLYCET 2024 hall tickets for successfully registered candidates can be downloaded 7(seven) days before the exam date only. POLYCET 2024 application registration date is extended up to April 10, 2024.”

As per the earlier schedule, the last date for candidates to register for AP POLYCET 2024 was April 5, 2024. AP POLYCET 2024 will be conducted on April 27 in a single shift from 11 am to 1 pm.

The AP POLYCET paper will have 120 questions with a choice of four responses for each question. The paper has three sections-

  • 50 questions in Mathematics for 50 marks
  • 40 questions in Physics for 40 marks
  • 30 questions in Chemistry for 30 marks

Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer while there will be no negative marking. The exam will be held for a duration of 2 hours.

The exam will be conducted for admission into diploma level programs in government, aided, private, un-aided polytechnics and second shift polytechnics run in existing private un-aided engineering colleges.
