AP POLYCET 2026 registration deadline extended to April 9, 2026; eligibility, fees, exam date, steps to apply
The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh has extended the registration process for the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) 2026. Now, applicants can apply till April 9, 2026 on the official website of AP POLYCET at polycetap.ap.gov.in. The AP POLYCET exam will be conducted on April 25 from 11 am to 1 pm.
The application fee for AP POLYCET 2026 is Rs 400 for OBC and unreserved category candidates, while those belonging to reserved categories are required to pay Rs 100.
To be eligible, candidates must have passed SSC or Class 10 (or an equivalent examination) from a recognised board. Only students who have successfully qualified Class 10 are eligible to apply for admission to diploma programmes.

Candidates can register for the AP POLYCET 2026 by following the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of AP POLYCET at polycetap.ap.gov.in.
- Fill out the registration form by entering the hall ticket number, 10th-grade graduation year, and date of birth.
- Finish the form with the necessary information.
- Make the payment, upload the required documents and then submit.
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference.

To submit the AP POLYCET 2026 application form offline, candidates need to first visit the official website and download the application form. After carefully filling in all the required details, they must submit the completed form at the nearest help centre as specified by the authorities.

AP POLYCET 2026: Exam pattern
The AP POLYCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode for admission to polytechnic courses. The test includes 120 multiple-choice questions: 50 from Mathematics, 40 from Physics, and 30 from Chemistry, and must be completed within 2 hours. Each question carries one mark, there is no negative marking, and the total score is 120 marks.
