NEW DELHI: The Department of School Education in Andhra Pradesh has announced the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 result. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment exam will be able to download AP TET 2024 result by visiting the official website, aptet.apcfss.in.
Candidates will require their candidate ID and date of birth to download the AP TET 2024 result. The AP TET 2024 exam was conducted from February 27 to March 9 in two shifts. The AP TET 2024 first shift was held from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while second was conducted from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
General category candidates are required to score minimum of 60 percent marks, candidates from Backward Classes are required to obtain 50%, whereas, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes candidates need to achieve a minimum of 50 percent marks to pass the AP TET 2024 exam.
According to the guidelines of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), AP TET certificates issued after October 25, 2021, have lifetime validity. As per the official data, a total of 2,67,789 candidates applied for the AP TET 2024 exam, out of which 2,35,907 have appeared.
