APPSC College Lecturer and Town Planning Assistant Exam 2019 Dates Rescheduled

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 25: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has changed the exam dates for Degree College Lecturer (DL) and Town Planning Assistant. APPSC in its official notice has also mentioned the new dates of both these examinations. According to the official notice issued by APPSC, the main examination of Degree College Lecturer (DL) posts which was previously to be held from November 28 to 30, 2019 will now be conducted on November 29 and 30, 2019. Similarly, the Town Planning Assistant Examination which was to be held on November 6 and 8, 2019 is now scheduled to be conducted on November 6 and 7, 2019.

The mains examination for DL will now be held on November 29th and 30th, 2019 in the morning and afternoon sessions.

The mains examination of Town Planning Assistant posts for three subjects will now be held as follows:

• The Paper-1 (General Studies & Mental Ability) Examination will be held in the morning session on November 6, 2019

• The Paper-2 (Town planning-1) Examination in the afternoon session on November 06, 2019.

• Paper-3 (Town Planning-2) Examination will be held at noon on November 7, 2019.

APPSC is to replace the lecturer posts in Government Degree Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. According to media reports, a total of 308 DL posts will be replaced out of these, 161 will be carry forward posts while 147 will be new posts.

Similarly, 24 Town Planning Assistant posts in the Andhra Pradesh State Town Planning Subordinate Service will also be filled.
