APPSC Group 1 Screening Test 2019 Postponed to May 26; Check Details Here

NEW DELHI, MARCH 14: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has postponed the exam date of Group 1 screening test. According to the recent notice released by APPSC, the test will be held on May 26, which was scheduled to be held on March 31, 2019. APPSC Group 1 screening test will be conducted in the forenoon and afternoon session on the prescribed date.
Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be issued APPSC Group 1 hall ticket 2019 to appear for the exam. The exam conducting authority, APPSC may release the hall ticket for the screening test in May 2019. To download the hall ticket, candidates will have to enter user ID/registration number and password in the login window available on the official website - https://psc.ap.gov.in/.
The screening test of APPSC Group 1 consists of two papers – I and II. The Paper I General Studies will have four parts – A, B, C, D, where each part will carry 30 marks. Paper II General Aptitude consists of two parts -A and B. Each part will carry 60 marks whereas total marks allotted to the preliminary exam is 240.
Candidates who will qualify APPSC Group 1 screening test will be selected for the next round of selection process. The mains exam of APPSC Group 1 is expected to be conducted on June 10 to 22, 2019. APPSC conducts Group 1 exam for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Assistant Prohibition & Excise Superintendent, Deputy Collectors, District Fire Officers, Assistant Commissioner of State Tax etc.
