NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 12: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the admit card of APSC for preliminary exam on November 12. APSC admit card is available online. To download the admit card, candidates will have to login with their roll number and date of birth. Candidates can download APSC admit card till the day of exam. The preliminary exam of APSC 2018 will be conducted on November 24 across multiple centres in 31 districts of the state. The exam will be held in two shifts -morning and afternoon.

The hard copy of APSC admit card has not been sent to any candidate by post. Details like candidates name, roll number, exam date, centre, exam venue, programme of exam, important guidelines are mentioned in the admit card. Candidates must bring the printed copy of the admit card along with one photo-identity proof to the examination centre. After downloading the admit card, candidates will have to paste passport-size photograph on the same.

For any discrepancies in the admit card, candidates should inform the examination officials for correction. According to the exam day guidelines, candidates are not allowed to carry items like mobile mobile phone, bluetooth, earphone, tablet, calculators, books, scale etc to the examination hall.

The preliminary examination will consist of two objective type papers, General studies and optional subject. Each paper will be held for two hours. The test will carry 400 marks.

Assam Public Service Commission is conducting the Combined Competitive Examination to select candidates various service like Assam Civil Service, Assam Land & Revenue Service, Assam Police Service etc. As many as 165 vacancies will be filled through this examination. According to the selection process, candidates qualifying the preliminary exam will be called for the mains exam. The marks obtained by candidates in the preliminary exam will not be considered for the final merit list.
