ASI in CISF will not be recruited through SSC CPO 2019;SSC

NEW DELHI, October 7: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a short notice regarding Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) in CISF recruitment on October 4, 2019. It is to be noted that SSC conducts CPO recruitment process to select the candidates for Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPF and Delhi Police and Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) posts in CISF. As per official notice recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) post in CISF will no longer will be done by SSC. This news is important for the candidates as it will be applicable for the recruitment process of SSC CPO 2019 session.

Further to this notice it can be assumed that the total number of vacancies in this recruitment process will also be decreased. As per CPO 2017 recruitment process around 2000 vacancies were allotted for Sub-Inspector in CAPF and Delhi Police while approx 1200 vacancies were allotted to ASI in CISF. Candidates can get an idea from the above mentioned facts that recruitment process will be more tough as less number of candidates will be selected and cut off will be high.

Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) in CISF post carries pay scale of Level- 5 (Rs.29,200-92,300) and is classified as a Group “C”(Non-Gazetted) as per SSC CPO official notification. SSC CPO 2019 paper-I exam is slated to be conducted from December 11 to 13, 2019 in online mode.
