Assam approves 75 assistant professor posts for opening arts stream in 5 colleges

Assam higher education department has approved creation of 15 posts each in 5 arts departments in PDUAM.
NEW DELHI : The higher education department of Assam has approved the proposal for creation of 75 posts of assistant professors to start arts stream in five colleges of the state, education minister Ranoj Pegu informed via social media. 15 assistant professors will be recruited for five departments each in five campuses of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Adarsh Mahavidyalaya.
“I am directed to state that govt of Assam in higher education department is pleased to approve the proposal for post creation of 75 nos of assistant professor posts for opening of arts stream in 5 nos of colleges,” said Kabita Deka, additional secretary to the department in an official letter.
The posts will be created for:
- Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Behali, Biswanath
- Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Amjonga, Goalpara
- Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Eraligool, Karimganj
- Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Dalgaon, Darrang
- Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Tulungia, Bongaigaon
“The higherednassam has approved creation of 75 nos. of Assistant Professors posts for opening of Arts stream in 5 Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya at Eraligul, Amjonga, Dalgaon, Tulungia and Behali,” Pegu said in a tweet.
