Assam CEE 2024 registration starts at formonline.net/AstuCee24; exam on June 2

NEW DELHI: The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has started the registration process for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE 2024) on the official website, formonline.net/AstuCee24. Eligible candidates aspiring for admission into Bachelor of Technology programme in engineering colleges of state can apply for the Assam CEE 2024 till April 3.

The ASTU will issue the Assam CEE admit cards online 15 days before the exam. The Assam CEE 2024 exam will be conducted on June 2 from 11 am to 2 ΡΜ. The result will be declared 10 days following the examination. The exam will be held in Assamese and English.

Assam CEE: Programmes available

Students will be admitted to the following programmes through the Assam CEE 2024:

• Civil engineering
• Mechanical engineering
• Chemical engineering
• Industrial and production engineering
• Instrumentation engineering
• Electrical engineering
• Computer science and engineering
• Power electronics and instrumentation engineering
• Electronics and telecommunication engineering.

Exam pattern

The Assam CEE 2024 will have 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which will be based on the syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. The question paper will be divided into three – mathematics, physics and chemistry – which will have 40 questions each. Students will be allotted four marks for each correct answer while one mark will be deducted for every wrong response.. There shall be no marks if the candidate selects more than one option in the answer sheet.

Candidates applying for the Assam CEE 2024 will have to upload a recent passport size colour photograph (150 X 220 pixels) in jpg or jpeg format and less than 35 kb in size. The also have to upload their signature (150 pixels X 220 pixels in jpg and jpeg format which are less than 30 kb in size. The candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 1,100.

Candidates can follow these steps to apply for the Assam CEE 2024:

• Visit the official website, formonline.net/AstuCee24
• Click on the register ‘register now’ link
• Register by filling the details mentioned in the next tab
• Click on login and enter your credentials such as application number and password.
• Complete the application fee and submit the fee
• Download the Assam CEE 2024 application fee for future reference.
