NEW DELHI: Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, is all set to conduct the BMAT 2021 exam in a remote proctored home-based test. Candidates who have applied and have paid the registration fee for the BMAT exam can appear for the same. But, it should be noted that the candidates have to follow the guidelines and instructions set up by the authorities.

Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Management Aptitude Test, commonly known as B-MAT, is a national-level entrance examination for admission to the postgraduate management programmes offered by the participating institutes. The B-MAT exam 2021 is conducted for a duration of 150 minutes wherein the candidates have to answer 200 MCQs.

BMAT 2021 - Exam Day Instructions

  • The application/roll number will be the user id and password for the candidates and the same will be provided on the BMAT admit card.

  • The candidates have to attend all the questions.

  • The screen will display one question at a time. To proceed to the next question, click on the ‘Next Question’ tab. To move back, click on the ‘Previous Question’ tab.

  • The timer will be on the top right side of the computer screen.

  • If a wrong answer has opted, the candidate can unmark it by clicking on the ‘erase’ tab.

  • There is no sectional time limit.

  • Attempted or unattempted questions will be shown on the right side of the screen.

  • Click on the ‘tag’ tab to put an answer/question on review.

  • Colour palette on the screen indicates:

    • Green - question is answered

    • Yellow - Question not answered and for review

    • Purple - Question is answer but on review

    • White - Question not answered

Requirements for the B-MAT remote proctored home-based test (online) mode

Desktop/Laptop:

  • Internet Browser: Google Chrome version 80 & above, with cookies & popups enabled

  • Video/Audio: Webcam min. 1.3 MP and a good quality Mic is required

  • Operating system: Windows 8 or 10

  • RAM & Processor: 4 GB+ RAM, i3 5th Generation 2.2 GHz or equivalent/higher

  • Pop-up blocker: Disabled

Uninterrupted power supply (UPS/ Inverter, etc.)

  • Internet Connection: Internet and Internet Bandwidth of minimum 2 MBPS (4G/ Wi-Fi) or above + upload speed
