Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan – the centre for all modern Indian language courses

NEW DELHI, APRIL 13: Now you can learn all modern Indian languages in one place. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will soon start Indian regional language courses for students who have completed their 10+2 or above.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof N N Pillai, Principal, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, said, “Learning of these languages will benefit the children of the migrants who have settled in the NCR regions decade back”, adding “it will also help those who are interested in knowing the multiple faces of our culture”.

To bridge the North-South and East-West emotional divide, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has decided to start teaching of regional languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telegu, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, Odiya, Urdu and Kashmiri from July 2019.

The courses are not free but would be at a cost a little more than Rs 10,000. Classes would be on Saturdays and Sundays. The certification would be given by Jawaharlal Nehru Academy of Languages of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
