NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) entrance examination 2021 for undergraduate and postgraduate courses will begin tomorrow. As per the National Testing Agency (NTA), BHU UET and PET exam 2021 is scheduled to be held from September 28 to 30 and on October 1, 3 and 4, 2021.

The NTA released the BHU admit card 2021 on September 26. Students appearing for the examination can download the admit card from the official website of BHU,, by entering their application number and date of birth.

The UET will be conducted in both pen-paper and computer-based test (CBT) mode, whereas the PET will be conducted only in CBT mode. The examination will contain multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Three marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Students appearing for the offline pen-paper exam need to carry their admit cards and a valid ID proof (Aadhaar card, pan card, voter ID, passport or driving license) with themselves.

The NTA is conducting this year’s BHU UET and PET for admission in various courses offered by the Banaras Hindu University.

15% seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST), 27% for Other Backward Class (OBC) category (excluding under creamy layer) and 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in each course. Admission against these seats is contingent on the candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria.
