BHU PG medical seat allotment list released; know steps to download the list here

NEW DELHI, March 27: The seat allotment list of Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi PG medical admissions has been released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The seat allotment list has been published by the authority after the conclusion of the first round of counselling, conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of MCC. The list contains the name of the candidate, allotted category, NEET PG 2019 rank and the name of the allotted college. The seat allotment list has been prepared on the basis of merit, preferences given by the candidates and availability of seats. BHU offers as many as 134 seats in 22 subjects at postgraduate level. The seats fall under AIQ and BHU Internal quota. The list thus released is a provisional one and the final list will be released after 5:30 PM. 

Steps to download the seat allotment list

In order to download the seat allotment list, candidates need to follow the steps listed below.

Step 1: Click on the link provided on MCC website to download the seat allotment list

STEP 2: The list has been issued in PDF format, mentioning all the relevant details.

Step 3: Candidates are required to find their AIR and roll number and verify details like category and the allotted college.

What to do next?

  • Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted college are required to report at the allotted college along with all the relevant documents and the seat allotment letter for further admission procedure.

  • There is also an option of free exit from round one which can be opted by the candidates.

  • The candidates who wish to participate in the second round for upgradation of the seat will need to choose the option of willingness to participate in round two.

  • Those candidates who have not been allotted a seat will need to wait for round two.

  • NEET PG 2019 scorecard

  • MBBS mark sheets of 1st, 2nd and 3rd professional examinations

  • Secondary School Certificate as a proof of date of birth

  • MBBS degree or pass certificate

  • Compulsory Residential Rotatory Internship certificate

  • Medical Council of India/State Medical Council registration certificate

  • SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped certificate, if applicable

  • Copy of  seat allotment letter

Round two of NEET PG/MDS Counselling

The round two of counselling is scheduled to be conducted from April 5 to April 22, 2019. The candidates who have already registered in the first round are not required to register afresh. A fresh list of seats available for round two will be released by the competent authority.
