BHU admission portal for registration and preference will remain closed on October 4. Candidates can apply for BHU UG registration till October 8.

NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University has extended the last date to fill out the BHU UG registration form 2022 till October 8. The last date to fill out the preference entry is October 9. The BHU online portal for registration and preference entry filling will remain suspended on October 4 for updating data received from NTA.
After completing the registration process, candidates need to submit their preference entry to the BHU portal. Earlier the last date for BHU UG registration 2022 was October 4.
‘The Preference form shall be opened next day at 12.00 noon for the candidates who have registered till 12.00 midnight. Hence, the candidates are advised to attempt after 12.00 noon on the next day,’ reads the notice available on the official website.

Before applying for the BHU UG admissions 2022, candidates must check the eligibility criteria. It is mandatory for candidates to have appeared in the CUET UG exam to apply for BHU admissions.
To register for BHU admissions, candidates first need to register on the Banaras Hindu University admission portal by using CUET application no. and CUET exam roll number as password. After this, candidates have to sign in again using the credentials, and then fill in the required details, and upload all essential documents.

Mark sheet of Class 10 and 12.
Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) issued by the appropriate authority, if applicable.
PwD certificate, if applicable.
BHU employee certificate, if applicable.
Sports quota, and sports achievement certificates, if required.
After the registration process, BHU will release the merit list for the selected candidates. BHU is conducting counselling for the selected candidates in online mode, wherein candidates will have to submit the admission fees to lock their seats.
